Here it is, some great exposure from Hi-Fructose, one of the raddest art publications/ websites out there covering our crazy world today. Thanks to the awesome folks, and namely, Ken Harman over at Hi-Fructose, for checking out Unstoppable Tomorrow Vol.1 at Old Crow in Oakland, CA. Awesome fish eye photos and a really nice little write up! Here’s what he had to say.
“Now on view at Old Crow Gallery in Oakland, CA is a surprising group show by three San Francisco based artists, “Unstoppable Tomorrow”. Showing together for the first time since the closing of Babylon Falling in 2008, John Felix Arnold III, Christopher Burch and D Young V (who we just saw in Miami oddly enough) present a seemingly post-apocalyptic and proto-punk look at an alternate future. As the three young artists draw upon each others talents, their combined powers make for little obstacles in their own respective futures.”-Ken
What an awesome little holiday heads up for D Young V, Chris Burch, and yours truly! Definitely appreciate the love and hope that our work and the energy that put this show into motion can catch eyes, raise brows, inspire, and really catch some peoples attention on a much larger scale now. Going even bigger in March with Japanther! Now for real, it’s off to North Carolina for some good home cookin!
Check back soon!
